|| SOLD || My head is still spinning after finding out ALL my mini mermaids sold out at @grammarartshow opening night! I am forever grateful to you all 🫶 I have so many ideas for mermaids so you'll see more coming, but not for a little bit. My hand injury is getting better but I have commissions to do first, plus I have 2 exhibitions coming up. Oh my goodness, I feel so fortunate to be able to bring joy to people through my art, but also incredibly lucky to do what I love. I'd love to hear from you if you purchased 'She's Can Talk Underwater'. I always like to know the story!

I finally put this little one up on my website! 'Morning Dip' acrylic on canvas 30 x 30cm framed in oak She's not a mermaid but she's pretty close! This was painted from a photo I took on Cooee Bay Beach (where I live). I wonder if she will ever see this painting... she just looked so relaxed and peaceful.

This is why I love what I do! 'Smokin Hot' was created especially for this exhibition. I wanted her to be a strong fearless and fun sassy mermaid. She knows how to have a good time. I think she turned out just how I wanted her to. And thank you to @grammarartshow for inviting me to participate in your amazing annual exhibition. I can't believe all my mini mermaids sold out on opening night!

@grammarartshow is officially opening tomorrow night! I had purchased tickets and booked accommodation and were going to travel down to Toowoomba for it but stuff happened and we had to cancel (my van needed a new engine and other crap happened too). But that's ok. I'm all good. I'm just SO incredibly excited to see it unfold on social media and super proud to be invited to participate. I have 4 mini mermaids available and this one is my favourite. I'll be showing the others over the next few days. I'm off to Brissy for a bit now, but will return soon and get back into painting (left handed if this stupid thumb of mine doesn't heal up fast enough).

I've just completed my collection of 4 Mini Mermaids! These are going to be entered into an exhibition (fingers crossed they get selected 🤞) so I can't show them to you just yet. But I am super happy with them! They're as sassy as ever too. Not a bad effort considering I'm having a problem with my thumb. It gets stuck in a straight position and it pops/clicks (slightly painful) to a bent position if I try real hard to bend it. It's getting worse so I should get it checked out. Anyone else had this problem?
